Item Description

The Braen's Quarry in New Jersey has been a seldom collected quarry for years, but has been a source of excellent Zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no Zeolites, but does hosts dozens of lovely "water green" color crystals of Datolite. The crystals have decent luster in areas and fairly sharp faces, along with decent gemminess. Additionally, one side of the specimenh sows sculptural, sharp, blocky, hollow "casts" of Datolite after Anhdyrite, which is not terribly common in my experience with Datolite from Braen's. A wonderful example of this classic Trap Rock material.
