Datolite casts after Anhydrite (ex Rich Kosnar collection)

Item Description

The Braen's Quarry in New Jersey has been a seldom collected quarry for years, but has been a source of excellent Zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no Zeolites, but features attractive, sculptural, sharp, blocky, striated, hollow "casts" of Datolite after Anhdyrite. There are a few sharp, gemmy Datolite crystals on one side of specimen as well, giving the piece some character. A wonderful example of this classic Trap Rock material.
