Item Description

A superb miniature of lusterous, pale green Datolite crystals from Charcas, from decades ago. It is a complete cluster of well-formed, gemmy, pale seafoam-green crystals to 1.5 cm. For crystallography, these old datolites really are highly desirable and seldom seen. This mini is great condition no damage and the individual Datolite crystals that comprise the cluster are well isolated revealing their intricate monoclinic crystallography. This is an elegant example of this species from a locale that produced great Datolite specimens long before Dalnegorsk in Russia!
