The famous Prospect Park Quarry is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) Zeolite localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This piece features no Zeolites, but it hosts sharp, lustrous, lovely "water green" color crystals of Datolite measuring up to 1.3 cm. The crystals have good form and above average gemminess. One does not see Datolite of this quality from many localities. A worthwhile small cabinet sized specimen. A good example of this classic Trap Rock material.
