Item Description
Datolites from Dal'negorsk are among some of the finest quality datolites in the world and this is a fine, colorful and showy example. This piece came out of Dal'negorsk over 10 years ago. The gemmy, lustrous and sharp crystals have a beautiful mint-green color, which was hard to capture with a camera. Entirely translucent, with some areas being water-clear gem. The large crystal, 4.2 cm across, has an interesting stepped-growth face. A very fine Dal'negorsk datolite. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
