Item Description
A classic specimen of Datolite from Dalnegorsk, featuring many sharp, lustrous, well-formed blocky crystals of a soft yellow-green hue measuring up to 1.7 cm across, free of matrix. Certain faces of the crystals have a selective frosted appearance, giving the piece a nice bit of contrast. No major damage, save the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. These pieces first started showing up in the early 1990s on the western market, but are notably absent today.
