Danburite with Calcite

Item Description

Gem quality, lustrous Danburites are a Charcas and Mexican classic. The crystals on this specimen are supremely glassy, with wonderful gemminess, soft pink and notable striations textbook, chisel terminations. The small, translucent Calcite crystals at the base of the crystals are a real complement. Really good quality and size for the species and the locality, though one of the crystals has a tiny nick near the termination.
