Danburite with Calcite

Item Description

Water-clear, gem Danburites are a Charcas and Mexican classic. The main crystal on this specimen is supremely glassy, well-striated with a textbook, chisel termination. The lustrous and translucent, complex calcite rhombs on one face and side are a real compliment. The side of the Danburite does have a nick, but internally it's remarkably gemmy. Really good quality and size for the species and the locality.
