Danburite with Calcite

Highly desirable pink danburite on this excellent large combination with calcite from the famous mines at Charcas. The very glassy, well-striated danburite has rare, pretty pastel-pink hue with a translucent body beautifully crowned by a striking and classic, gemmy, chisel termination with satin luster faces. The danburite is elegantly partially wrapped with cream-colored calcite rhombohedrons, a typical accessory. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine. A small bruise on a termination edge is out-of-sight on the back of the piece. A very fine, large display quality danburite with desirable pink color and calcite. A Mexican classic.
