Danburite (uncommon locale - fluorescent) ex Obodda

Item Description

Danburite crystals are rare from this uncommon locale, especially in well-formed crystals, such as this fine example. This glassy, translucent crystal has gray-green color and a sharp chisel termination. Complete all-around and essentialy pristine. One side is partially contacted, but has little actual damage. Interesting fluorescence: modest yellow-green with SW UV; and purple with LW UV. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. A must for the species or locality collector.
