Item Description
Danburite isn't a terribly common gem, especially if you eliminate the material from Charcas, Mexico. Most of the Danburite you'll see on the market is colorless (sometimes slightly pink), but back in 2013 there was a very limited discovery of some beautiful golden / yellow Danburite crystals, some of which were clean enough to produce excellent faceted stones. This gem is a great example of this incredibly hard to find material with a "Brilliant Pear" cut and very slight inclusions that look like they might be acicular Rutile needles. This material is incredibly hard to find on today's market, and yellow Danburite gems are already hard to find. For reference, Danburite is a hard and durable stone which makes it great for jewelry, so you could turn this gem into a fantastic pendant if you so wish, or make it a great addition to your gem collection.
