When it comes to crystals of Danburite, the world-famous examples from Charcas are by far the finest piece ever found. Not only are these the largest GEM quality crystals of Danburite in the world, but occasionally, they show a rare PINK color, which is almost unheard of outside of Charcas. This piece is a fine quality specimen, featuring a superb, GEM quality crystal with a classic "chisel-shaped" termination, measuring 5.8 cm, showing a rare soft pink hue, sitting on Calcite matrix. No major damage that I can see on front / display side of the specimen, and it looks beautiful in person. The crystal is very glassy and razor-sharp, and the optic clarity is superb. Valued at $1,500.
