Danburite (rare locality specimen)

This piece is a wonderful, well-formed Danburite specimen from this old Japanese Sn-Pb-Zn-As mine. These pieces are rarely seen on the market, and this piece is a showy, sharp, well-formed single prism with a dark golden-grey hue with a classic "chisel"-shaped termination. The piece is pristine, save the base where it was removed from the pocket wall. If you collect Japanese minerals, this would make a great addition to your collection, especially because Danburite is a species that people rarely associated with any locality in Japan.
