Danburite (GEM crystal)

Item Description

A gorgeous GEM crystal of light golden Danburite from this lesser-known pegmatite locality in Myanmar. The piece complete all around, save the base, but the excellent internal clarity is about as good as one could expect from the locale. Danburite crystals with top gem clarity are very hard to find from most world localities, especially with any kind of color. Specimen weight is 1.69 grams (8.45 carats).
