Danburite and Quartz (Dick Heck Coll.)

Item Description

A glassy danburite crystal with a gemmy, water-clear chisel termination is strikingly accented with a spray of glassy quartz crystals on this dramatic specimen from Charcas. This impressive combination specimen is complete all-around and nearly pristine. You can hardly tell, that there is a trivial bit of termination wear to the danburite and a couple of the quartz crystals have gently bruised terminations. The back is a significant bonus, as it is covered with two generations of calcite crystals, including a very nifty, 3.0 cm, doubly terminated crystal.
