Danburite (3-crystal set)

Item Description

A beautiful 3-crystal set of attractive golden-amber colored Danburite crystals from Pein-Pyit. Two of the crystals very gemmy (virtually water-clear in areas), while the longer more slender crystal is more on the translucent side of gemminess. The crystals are well-formed with sharp, lustrous faces and only some minor imperfections. This particular hue is rarely seen in Danburite, and good GEM crystals are rather rare. Total weight of the lot is 8.77 grams.
From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer as well as a miner and worldwide mineral collector. Bill has traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
