Certainly one of the most unique species in the Mineral Kingdom with the "cylinder" or "tube" shape, cylindrite is unique in the mineral world. Impressive, sculptural and rich solid 270-degree miniature of the rare Pb-Fe-Sn-Sb sulfosalt Cylindrite from the well-known Type Locality - the Santa Cruz Mine at Poopo, Bolivia. The lustrous, metallic-gray crystals reach about 2.5 cm. Excellent, rich and showy material from the Shields Flynn Collection. The crystal definition is fine on this piece. Valued $400-500.
