Item Description
Cyclically-twinned cerussite specimens from Tsumeb are a classic and this is a fine 360-degree example. Stout, adamantine-luster, parallel-growth crystals comprise this aesthetic piece. The glassy crystals have a very interesting and different look, with some crystals being gemmy and smoky, others having frosted faces and still others being gemmy and colorless. Hoppered crystals are also in evidence. Complete all-around, with actually very trivial bruising. Excellent Tsumeb cerussite with large crystals and unusual form. Ex Al Ordway Collection purchased in 1999 from the Lesnicks. Valued at $750-900.
