Item Description

A sculptural, very glassy, cyclically-twinned small cabinet cerussite from famed Tsumeb. The stepped-growth crystal is transparent to translucent and has classic very high adamantine lustre. The protruding flange in the middle covered with tiny, sparkly pastel-green cuprian smithsonite rhombs adds allure. In great shape, overall. The left edge is partially contacted, but there is very little actual damage there and it looks natural. A classic and very showy cyclically-twinned cerussite with smithsonite combination from Tsumeb, that is a crazy contrast of sparkly and shiny, one against the other. Somehow the result is not jumbly, but very beautiful. Please watch the video, as it is better in person and valued $1500-2000.
