Item Description
An sculptural and impressive cerussite from Tsumeb. The classic, very robust cyclic-twin has fine adamantine luster, water-clear to translucent limbs with sharp, tapered, knife-edge terminations. The striking central crystal is 4.3 tall on this excellent two-sided specimen. The bit of bruising noted on the termination edges is mostly confined to the back side of this fine classic. This would be a $4000 to 6000 specimen, if perfect. Fairly valued at $1500-2000. Cyclic-twins of this size and quality are RARE on the market, as cerussite is a signature species from this world-famous mine. An important Tsumeb cerussite and displays well without aid.
