Item Description
Fine cerussite specimens from the Broken Hill Mine of Zambia are very uncommon and are highly desirable. Gemmy, very glassy, cyclic-twinned cerussite crystals are richly and atractively scattered in a striking, folded elongate vug lined with sparkling, rose-pink, smithsonite microcrystals Old and rare combination material from this famous, but less well-known mine, that closed in about 1989 but effectively produced most specimens prior to the 1970s. Comes with an old, faded Ward's label with an October, 28, 1939 date written at the top. Try to find another like it!! MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
