Item Description

Striking radial sprays of beautiful sky-blue cyanotrichite needles richly and dramatically cover the sculptural gossan matrix accented with complimentary malachite. Cyanotrichite is an uncommon copper sulfate found in the oxidation zone of copper ore bodies. This fine, old two-sided piece is from the Maid of Sunshine Mine of Arizona. Ex Joe Lobell Collection.
