A RARE, rich and excellent combination miniature from this classic old French copper mine. Cute tufts of bright sky-blue gem cyanotrichite needles are aesthetically set in the upper right hand corner of the sculptural matrix covered with pinwheel sprays of navy- and electric-blue azurite blades. Ex Francesco Bedogne Collection # 2417. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
