Item Description
A very impressive, sculptural, old-time, CABINET specimen of solid crystallized cuprite accented with malachite from the famous mines at Bisbee. The large, ameoba-like, 7.7 x 5.5 cm, vug is totally lined with very sharp, lustrous, deep wine-red, cuprite crystals to 4 mm. Bisbee cuprite specimens in this size are very seldom available. NO wonder it is very rich copper ore. Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection. 2.9 pounds or 1.3 kilos. Valued at $1250.
