Item Description

This attractive specimen features a few very sharp and well-formed octahedral crystals of Cuprite from the premier locality in Congo. The deep red, razor-sharp crystals measure up to 1.3 cm and are associated with classic pale blue-green Chrysocolla on matrix. When backlit, the fine Cuprites show the classic blood red color for which Cuprite is known. A beautiful specimen of this classic and somewhat hard to find material.
