Item Description
A 6 mm, mirror-bright, deep blood-red, cuprite octahedron is aesthetically placed and nicely accented with blue-green chrysocolla on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous Mashamba West Mine. Veinlets of cuprite microcrystals run through the wedge of matrix. Howard Belsky priced this piece at $85, prior to his untimely death in 1987.
