Cuprite with Chrysocolla

Item Description

A good quality piece featuring fairly sharp, good sized, modified octahedral Cuprite crystals with soft pale blue-green Chrysocolla from the Dikuluwe Mine,, in the Congo. When backlit, the piece shows a RICH red internal color, but it was difficult to photograph. The piece is contacted around the bottom, but still great quality overall. Valued at $550, and a worthwhile miniature of this now hard to find material. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm.
