Cuprite w/ Cuprian Dolomite

Gorgeous cherry-red color GLOWS, when this super dense field of sharp, translucent cuprite octahedrons is strongly backlit. The wine-red crystals have a fabulous peacock-blue iridescence under normal light! The cuprites are about 4-5 mm. AND the cuprites are dramatically and colorfully complimented by fields of mint-green cuprian dolomite and colorless dolomite rhombs. These could be cuprian smithsonite rhombs, but we are not sure. This is an exceptionally fine and very rich combination example of the famous species from Tsumeb. Valued at $1000 for richness and quality.
