Item Description
Mineral or ore specimens are RARE from this obscure open pit gold-silver mine. This hefty, sculptural, vuggy ore specimen is essentially solid crystalline, lustrous, metallic, cuprite with wine-red color under bright light. Several faces and vugs host bright blood-red mats of tiny, cuprite variety chalcotrichite hairs and crusts. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Very rare and rich combination copper ore! Mass is 227 grams.
