Scintillating, magenta, hair-like needles of Cuprite variety Chalcotrichite are richly scattered about in clusters on a contrasting brown to orange-brown Goethite matrix from this fantastic limited find at this copper Mine in China a decade or so ago. The delicate, bright red fibrous crystals are in somewhat continuous to isolated nests that stand out on variegated orange-brown to brown Goethite matrix on this gorgeous small cabinet piece. The color is a metallic fire red, shocking in person! Although fragile, we do believe we can ship this specimen safely. Crystals in these clusters of attenuated crystals are up to 1 cm in length.
