Item Description
Delafossite is an uncommon Cu-Fe oxide often associated with cuprite, copper and limonite. This striking and most colorful small cabinet features an impressive lustrous, blood-red cuprite crust that pseudomorphs, coats and is associated with brown delafossite botyroids. The cluster of lustrous goethite botryoids on the back is a fine accessory. Rare in this richness and combination quality from the famous Czar Mine and is undoubtedly old material. Ex Marcella Watson Collection and comes with a label from respected Arizona dealer and collector Les Presmyk.
