Item Description
A good quality and aesthetic thumbnail display specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, lustrous, metallic, deep reddish colored octahedral crystals of Cuprite sitting on very sharp, attractive, brilliant metallic Copper crystal matrix. The fact that the underlying Copper is crystallized makes all the difference. The quality is exellent for both species. The largest Cuprite measures 8 mm, and they look beautiful when backlit, with gorgeous blood red color. I can see one tiny "rub" on one of the Cuprites, but other than that, the piece looks to be damage free and crystallized all the way around. These specimens were fairly abundant several years ago, and it seems they have dried up, so don't miss out on them since they seem to be disappearing fast.
