Item Description

A very rich and showy, classic, old-time, combination copper ore specimen from the famous Redruth-St. Day District of Cornwall. Sparkly, gemmy to opaque, cherry-red to wine-red, cuprite microcrystals richly cover three sides of the vuggy matrix of massive chalcocite. An excellent specimen from this historic district from the J. Cilen (# 17950!) and Wes Parker Collections. Hefty rich copper ore at 239 grams. Valued at $200-300.
