Item Description
A showy, old-time Bisbee cuprite specimen. The crest is covered with impressive, arborescent, spherical clusters of sparkly wine-red cuprite crystals. The cuprite covers the top and part of the back, too. There are four old numbers on the back of the piece. Classic, excellent and rich old copper ore from the Dartmouth College Collection at 165 grams. The numbers match and the piece probably dates to prior to World War I.
