Sharp, lustrous silver-metallic, cuprite crystals to 9 mm fill numerous artistic vugs in the large scultpural matrix of massive cuprite on this fine and showy specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee. The translucent cuprites glow with wine-red to cherry-red color under bright light. Undoubtably old-time material from this classic locale, but no proof. Rich copper ore, that diplays well without aid. Valued at $800.
