Sharp, brilliant lustre, metallic cuprite octahedrons, to 5 mm, sparkly under any light and richly cover the undulating miniature matrix on this very rich and showy specimen from the now-famous Milpillas Mine. The crystals GLOW with cherry-red gemminess under bright light. These are some of the finest cuprites from anywhere to come out in the recent past and this is a highly representative, rich and excellent example.
