The fabulous cherry-red color of these gemmy cuprites really explodes in the backlit photo of these malachite-coated cuprite octahedrons from the famed 1970s finds at Onganja. Yes, the crystals are cleaved and contacted, but the large coated crystal shows classic form. Excellent, highly representative material from this find. Has some gem rough, obviously! Valued $750
