Item Description
A showy and rich small cabinet cuprite specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee. Lustrous, nubby, partially crystallized, dark brick-red cuprite fills a sculptural vug and one side of the sturdy, hefty gossan matrix. The crystals reach about 5 mm. The cuprite lights up in bright light! Bisbee crystallized cuprites tend not to be so rich and concentrated, and this is. This is a major small cabinet Bisbee cuprite. Rich old-time copper ore at 269 grams.
