Item Description

Small semi-lustrous deep blood red metallic crystals of Cuprite cover the oxidized matrix on this attractive miniature specimen. Yes, the crystals are small, but as you can see from the micro photos we took, they are beautiful up close. They are mostly octahedral in habit, though some of them are modified with cubic faces. Sharp and lustrous to be sure. A good overall reference specimen from Daye Co.
