A great Cuprite thumbnail specimen from this sulfide deposit in Russia about 35 km from Kazakhstan border. Sharp, lustrous, deep metallic red cuboctahedra of Cuprite makes for an excellent overall specimen. VERY little damage, and it even shows great color along the edges when backlit! These are going up in value it seems, and this one is valued at $600 in our inventory. These are some of the finest crystallized example of Cuprite from any world locality, so even though it's contemporary material, it shouldn't be ignored for its amazing quality.
