Item Description
A colorful, sculptural and deceptive rare cuprian smithsonite from famed Mina Ojuela. Sparkly, translucent, pretty variable green spherical aggregates of tiny smithsonite rhombs cover the sturdy gossan matrix. The side views reveal a striking curved smithsonite flange and ridge separates the two sides of the piece. The flange is not visible in the vertical views. Green cuprian smithsonite is RARE from Ojuela and this is an outstanding example.
