Item Description
A very showy and highly desirable, green, cuprian smithsonite from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Cuprian smithsonite, such as this, is one of the most sought-after smithsonite varietals from this renowned mine and this is a good one. Gemmy and lustrous, apple-green rhombs surround a darker green area on this richly lined vug lined with a starkly contrasting white crust on the very sculptural matrix. Choice material from this world-class locality. Valued at $600-800.
