Item Description

Lustrous, translucent spherical aggregates of variable light olive-green cuprian austinite blades are densely clustered on the sculptural sawed sturdy gossan matrix plate from famed Mina Ojuela. Austinite is an uncommon anhydrous Ca-Zn-arsenate. The bit of noted periphery wear to the austinites is certainly only a modest detraction. This showy, rich and highly representative example is from the late 2006-early 2007 find at the renowned locale. These are probably best of species, and they have not been for sale in some time. We found one old flat from this find in our warehouse while summer-cleaning. This is a fabulous specimen valued $1250-1500
