Gorgeous rich robins egg-blue color and dramatic sculptural quality on this amazing aragonite from the Wenshan Mine. The flare at the top with the with the accenting stalks and the striking contact at the base of the front highlight this very artistic piece. The contact reveals the banded radial growth of the aragonite needles around the cavern where the precipitating fluids flowed. The beautiful blue color is due to trace amounts of copper. The base has been sawed on this fabulously colorful and decorative piece.
