Item Description
Lustrous and translucent, teal-blue colored botryoids of cuprian adamite, to 5 mm across, are nestled in an ocherous, vuggy, limonite matrix. The color and textural differences are intriguing. This was a VERY SMALL FIND, in the mid-2000s, and this is the largest good specimen I have seen from the find. The bluish color of these adamites is unique, and nothing like adamite from any other locale. I have sene thumbnails for $100-200 from the find. This piece was in the James Zigras collection, until recently. valued $2000 for color, rarity, and locality interest
