Item Description

Cumengeite is a signature rare Holy Grail species from Mexico and this rich and excellent matrix thumbnail is from the famous Type Locality at Santa Rosalia. Brilliant luster indigo-blue twinned octahedral and octahedral crystals richly and attractively cover this mounded cutie. This very fine specimen is from the personal collection of Bill Larson, who teamed with Ed Swoboda in the mid-1970s. They rediscovered and worked the same areas in the Amelia Mine where the original discoveries were made around 1900. An outstanding and rich example. Valued at $1500. RARE on the market in this richness and quality.
