A classic and showy combination specimen from Weardale. A sharp, 2.2 cm, matt finish, slightly corroded, cuboctahedral galena crystal is expertly perched on a mounded matrix covered with very glassy, purple to whitish, fluorite cubes. The large cube on the end is 1.0 cm. Very fine combo material from this very famous locale. We think the mine is probably the Blackdene, by the color and quality of the fluorites.
