Item Description

A classic, old-time and fine German fluorite specimen. Glassy, colorless, cuboctahedral fluorite crystals to 1.8 cm with complimentary, lustrous, sharp, two-toned brown siderite rhombs richly and attractively cover the matrix of massive siderite. Some crystal faces are water-clear and you can see right into the depths of the crystals, while others are preferentially frosted. This historic piece hails from the famous Harz Mountains. Probably around 100 years old or more. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. Valued $300-400
