Item Description
An impressive and colorful large fluorite and quartz combination from this well-known fluorite mine. Two striking intergrown fluorite cuboctahedrons are very aesthetically set on the sculptural quartz crystal matrix. The sharp cubocts, to 3.3 cm, have rich violet color. The striking glassy crystals are water-clear to translucent. The cube faces are glass-clear, peering into the interior, with the octahedral faces have pretty silky lustre. The crystals GLOW, when back lit! Common 10 years ago, you don't see much around today. An outstanding example of this color varietal and form. Valued at $1000-1250.
