A showy and classic fluorite from Naica and the Evan Jones Mexico Collection. The large, glassy and lustrous crystal is actually a complex octahedron composed of a myriad of smaller, stair-stepped, cuboctahedral crystals! Complete all-around and pristine, the fluorite jauntily rests on a matrix of calcite with pyrite. Outstanding older material, as the piece comes with a Gary Hansen label, which dates the piece to the 1970s or very early 80s. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
